SaucerJam is a free browser game run by one developer. This page says what the game stores and where it goes. Play requires no account, and there are no ad networks and no third-party tracking scripts on saucerjam.com.
- No session replay. We do not record your screen, mouse movements, touches or keystrokes.
- No third-party fonts or files. The site uses only fonts already on your device and loads its scripts, styles and media from saucerjam.com.
- No marketing email and no purchases. The game sends no newsletters or promotions. An email account only gets the sign-in messages it asks for (confirmation, password reset). Our community board at community.saucerjam.com is a separate service with its own notification settings. SaucerJam has nothing to buy and no subscriptions.
- Game portals. If you play SaucerJam inside a game portal (such as CrazyGames or Playgama), that portal's own software, including its ads, account system and storage, runs around the game under the portal's privacy policy.
Playing without an account
- Your callsign and your flight records (kills, deaths, wins, accuracy, level and similar match stats) appear on the public leaderboard.
- Your pilot is identified by a random token that lives in your browser's local storage — not by a name, email or account.
- Your settings (callsign, sound and music, graphics tier, aim line, last arena) are stored in your browser only.
Optional account
Signing in with Google, Apple or an email address is optional and only used to carry your callsign and records between devices. It stores your email address and account id with our authentication and records provider, Supabase. We never post to your Google or Apple account or see your password. Ask us to delete an account or records at any time (below).
Before an account is created, the game asks for your birth month and year. It keeps only whether you passed, in your browser, and never the date itself.
Chat
Arena chat is relayed to the players in that arena in real time and is not stored after the match. A host can mute or remove pilots; blocked lists live with the arena and are discarded when it closes.
Reports
- Feedback reports (bug, idea, balance) from the in-game panel are posted to our public community board at community.saucerjam.com. If you are signed in, your account is attached to the post; you can also open the board directly.
- Player reports are different: they are stored privately in an operator-only file with the reason and details you provide plus the reporting pilot's identity, used only for moderation. They are never shown to other players and never appear on the public board.
Performance diagnostics
While you play, the game occasionally sends anonymous, bucketed performance counters — frame timing, stalls, prediction corrections, action age — plus a coarse device class (touch/desktop) and orientation, and anonymous counts of a short, fixed list of game moments (for example "menu opened" or "touch guide shown"). There is no identifier, no free text, and at most one small batch every 30 seconds. These drive alerts and dashboards, never gameplay decisions.
Server data
- Aggregate counters (joins, rounds, latency, rooms, players) contain no personal data.
- IP addresses are used in memory for abuse and rate limits, and are not stored in the game's data files.
- Our hosting and CDN (Cloudflare, and our own server) keep short-lived access logs for security and operations, as any web service does.
Cookies
None. The game uses your browser's local storage for settings and, if you sign in, your session.
Keeping and deleting data
Leaderboard records persist until removed. Email [email protected] to remove your records or account, or to ask what is stored about you.
Children
SaucerJam is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age where you live). Accounts are for players 13 and older: the age question above refuses account creation to younger players, and remembers that answer in the browser. Guest play stores no name, email or account. Please don't put personal information in a callsign or in chat. If you believe a child under 13 has given us personal information, email us and we will delete it.
Changes
If this policy changes materially, the change is noted in the changelog and the date above moves.
